Fitness performance on a plant-based diet: a documentary on the effects of meat

Watched this documentary yesterday and thought it very well produced – lots of data and not only doctors but also sportspeople sharing their knowledge and experience.

The Game Changers, available on Netflix and other platforms.

Some facts addressed:

  • is protein from meat better than from plants?
  • can a high-performance sportsperson compete on a plant-based diet?
  • what are the effects in the body, from a cell and inflammation perspective?

Highly recommend.

Now I’d like to see a documentary “proving” the opposite, i.e. the benefits of meat to the human body. Let’s not go into the environmental issues this time, nor diseases. 😉
